KQ8 is not a very well liked game and it does have a lot of issues, both with age and with how much of a departure it is from the series prior to it. And i do feel like maybe my different kintypes could be synthesised and explained as a single form (a dragon could be a reptillian water creature like how I feel like an alligator, but also be feathered and nest building like I feel from an osprey. It also feels harder to be taken seriously if i say i am this but also this and this and this sometimes it changes, and easier to defend a single Truth of being One thing.
Also with my transspecies identity I have started to be less comfortable with my polykin identity, the moving between identifying as different things and feeling more strongly one thing or an other thing in a moment, since I have been wanting to physicallg make myself as much as possible, my True Form, which makes me feel like I should only have One single True Form, instead of many. Though i could also be a dragon seperately from being a darigan wocky and its just confusing because similar kintypes are hard to disentangle. And i have always kind of seen myself as a dragon on and of but i thought it was more based on desire to be than auctually being, but with recent discussions on why seperate so much between chosen and not chosen identities i wonder if the distinction matters. Especially with neopets new venture into NFTs. Maybe i should identify as dragonkin and just see myself as a cat like dragon since thats simpler to convey and seems more respectable than a neopet.
